Whether it’s been going on for a few weeks or several years, I often see similar struggles come up for people dealing with back pain: frustration, worry and confusion from conflicting advice. I also see similar movement patterns that place a lot of load on the back, and a struggle to connect with the breath and feel grounded through the feet.


I know that when we go back to the basics there is so much potential for change and improvement, and I have seen how much progress people can make when challenging their current movement patterns and gradually building strength, so I've created this workshop as an introduction to my approach which is my unique blend of current evidence, muscle activation techniques and rehab principles.

I hope it is a chance for you to explore those common challenges in a supportive group setting.


What You’ll Gain:

  • Increased clarity on what’s holding you back

  • Start building the confidence to move without fear or restriction

  • A deeper understanding of your body and how to support it


What We’ll Cover:

  • Principles of recovery from back pain

  • How your current movement strategies may be contributing to discomfort

  • The impact of mindset, beliefs, and emotions on recovery

  • Muscle activation techniques (pressure points) you can test and explore

  • Gentle breath-focused movements to help you feel more ease in your back


This is a mix of theory and practice, designed to support both body and mind.


Who Is It For?

This workshop is for anyone with chronic or recurring back pain who wants to stay active and make progress toward their fitness goals.

If you're in a very acute stage of pain, this session may not be suitable. Please feel free to reach out if you're unsure.

You should ideally be able to get on and off the floor. If that’s a concern, let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate you within the group.


What to Bring and Wear:

  • Wear: Comfortable clothing that allows free movement

  • Bring: Mats are provided, but feel free to bring your own. A notebook might be helpful for jotting down any “aha” moments
